Families In Crisis

Families in Crisis is a program set up by our chapter to assist organizations that provide a needed service to the community.  We currently have two programs:  (1) Marta’s House and (2) Exodus House.

Marta’s House is a temporary shelter for battered women and children. located in Klamath Falls. It provides shelter and programs for about 200 women and children throughout the year. We provide diapers and wipes for the babies, bus tokens, holiday gifts, and books.

Exodus House is a temporary shelter for homeless and runaway youths, youths on probation and those waiting for foster care homes. These children range from 7 to 17 years of age.  Our Chapter provides clothing certificates and books, and our membership collects and donates hygiene and laundry items as well as Christmas gifts.
